79. Equal In Every Way

Divided by poverty or wealth

Faith or religion

Vibrant youth or old age health

By lower class or upper scion

Variants of dress, style

Divergence of opinion

Grounded or mobile

Of a man or a woman

Our eyes of prejudice

Repulsed or attracted

Around the same axis

A life we never doubted

The grass greener

On the other side

A shade brighter

A deepening divide

Little do we realize

Views of our own making

Why we love or despise

Biased without listening

We all live

With identical hardship

What we give

We get in relationship

The same feeling

Same madness

The same hurting

Same happiness

Others may seem new

Different each day

In the end, what we go through

Is equal in every way
